issue: a block reference cannot be deleted (cursor can't reach it, DEL and Ctrl+A delete don’t work).

workaround: ensure a new line is present below the reference when adding links

issue: When creating blocks in a block using the '[[' syntax, it does not immediately refresh the blocks list for the / link command.

workaround: Remove created block from the editor and relink it manually using the action menu or reload the page and use the / link command.

[28 August 25 🚀 250828] adding images requires an additional separate save to properly save to block

Problem: When pasting images, the image uploads whilst successful when they appear in the block, do not get saved to the block unless another change is made after. This is not critical severity because images are not lost and can still be accessed via the file explorer under the block resources.

Workaround: Make a minor edit in the block after adding an image to ensure that any prior image is properly saved in the block.

[17 August 25 📊 250817] word counter shows minor discrepancy under certain circumstances

Problem: In blocks with significant/complex formatting, minor word count discrepancies may arise, but does not affect any functionality.

Workaround: None.

Problem: The blockref gallery (file explorer), breadcrumbs are not showing and forward/backward navigation is broken at the moment.

Workaround: Click the blockref gallery page again to reset the explorer view.

[13 August 25 250813] adding block links to a block within a hierarchy links to the incorrect block ID

Problem: When trying to link blocks inside of a nested block parent-child hierarchy, the destination block (to be linked to), is being incorrectly set.

Workaround: To link any blocks that are not the root block (e.g. have a parent), open that block in a blockbox separately and proceed to link normally.

[7 August 250810] Blocks appended to via append API with changes that lead to exceeding the word limit will be rejected and cause data loss.

Problem: When using the append API to add content to an existing block, if the additonal content crosses the block's word limit threshold, the changes will be dropped, leading to data loss. This is functionally intended behaviour, but due to the possibility of unknown data loss when using the API, other strategies are being explored.

Workaround: Ensure the blocks you are adding content to are not close to their word limit, and that the content you are adding will not surpass any limit.
